The BPP, which is the sixth census for Brunei Darussalam, will be conducted in three stages.
The first stage will be house listing by village/area in each district throughout the country from January 20 – February 21, 2021.
The second stage will be the e-Census handling (from April 20 to June 21), and the third stage, the face-to-face interview (from July 20 to August 2).
The census covers everyone – whether citizens of Brunei Darussalam, permanent residents or temporary residents living here in 2021. The data will provide comprehensive information on the population according to demographic, social and economic characteristics, on top of information on total housing as well as basic housing facilities or needs.
