Female officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and its departments including officers and staff of His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight attended a religious talk in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan at the Theatre Hall of the ministry’s building yesterday.
The talk, themed ‘A Soulful Ramadhan or Meaningful Ramadhan’ was delivered by Education Officer at the Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Siti Hanisah binti Haji Othman.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani was present.
Permanent Secretary (Economy, Trade and Industry) at the MoFE Hajah May Fa’ezah binti Haji Ahmad Ariffin, heads of departments and divisions, female officers and staff also attended.
Among the essence of the talk was to always be mindful and maintain limits in building a healthy body, while everyone should also focus on spiritual health by increasing the recitation of Al-Qur’an, Zikir and prayers.
The event served as an annual religious activity of the MoFE in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan and is conducted on a rotation basis by the departments at the ministry.
