The Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office organised a pentarama at the festive stage of Pekan Bangar on Saturday, in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday celebration.
Artistes from Al-Busyra group, comedians Loh and Tibby from BruHaHa and a drama show on Hijrah depicting the misuse of drugs from Insan Seni group were among the performers at the event.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, who is also Acting Penghulu of Zone 1, Village Head of Kampong Labu Estate and Piasau-Piasau in Temburong District, was the guest of honour.
Acting Director of Information Department Siti Bismi Nuruliman binti Haji Awang Emzah and Acting Deputy Director Sastra Sarini binti Haji Julaihi were also present. – Azlan Othman
