The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) held an online Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil recitation ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty’s late son Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim yesterday, in conjunction with the 11th KUPU SB Convocation Ceremony.
KUPU SB Ra’es Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar was the guest of honour. KUPU SB officers, lecturers, staff and soon-to-be graduates also attended.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yaasiin followed by Tahlil led by KUPU SB Fiqh Al-Usrah Research Centre Director Hilman bin Haji Salim.
