Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) and Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) held separate recitations of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, the late parents of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, and for His Majesty’s late son Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim at the Royal Mausoleum, Jalan Tutong, yesterday.
BSM’s congregation included business partners as well as company management and staff led by BSM Managing Director Muhammad Norshafiee bin Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa Tahlil led by BSM’s Head of Retail Haji Shahruddin bin Haji Abdul Wahid.
Meanwhile, over 20 male staff of MPC led by Chief Operating Officer Fazilah bin Haji Mohd Yassin participated in the Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil recitation ceremony.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) and member of MPC Board of Directors Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid attended the event.
The recitation was led by Head Imam of Setia Ali Mosque Nasehin bin Haji Yahya.
