Every Friday, without fail, there is a huge traffic jam in Kiulap. Often, people are stuck in the congestion for up to an hour, with no way of opting out of shopping or dining in the area. The whole place is like a maze with two exit points. There are too many restaurants, supermarkets and offices that even if one is determined to spend their day-off there, it is impossible to avoid the snail-paced traffic flow. Even if one is lucky enough to get out of the congestion, there is another hurdle awaiting them: parking.
With new buildings constantly being constructed, there are now countless potholes and cracks on the roads left by heavy vehicles that frequent the area.
The authorities ought to tackle its existing issues before it reaches a point of no return.
