Twenty-five members of the Swift Sport Club gathered for The Fun Hatch Gallery, a meet-and-greet session at the Suzuki Showroom in Gadong on Saturday night in conjunction with the upcoming launch of the new Suzuki Swift Sport.
The event was organised by Boustead Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Suzuki cars in
Iconic sporty hatchback from different generations, which has retained its simple builds for easy and flexible tailoring as well as its fun to drive elements to universally appealing to the both developing markets and some of the most advance markets in the world were showcased.
Marketing Manager of Boustead Sdn Bhd Alvin Kho and Assistant Manager of Suzuki Wang Kai Choon were present.
Swift Sport Club members also showcased their custom first and second generation vehicles at the event.
Attendees were offered a glimpse of the new upcoming Swift Sport which promises to offer better dynamic as a whole. With a 1.4-litre direct injection turbo boosterjet engine, the upcoming new Swift Sport can achieve an impressive torque of 230Nm. The handling is improved due to its lightweight of only 970kg and underbody rigidity as it utilises Suzuki’s renowned Heartect technology platform. The new model also offers a six-speed automatic and manual transmission.
The meet-and-greet marked the beginning of a countdown towards the launch of the new Suzuki model on November 13. Swift enthusiast can also follow the launch with an official teaser on social media with the hashtag #sportextremewin and #sportextremedrive. The event also saw a lucky draw for invited guests.
