Former and current officers and staff of Radio & Television Brunei’s (RTB) Playout Centre, Studio TV and Outside Broadcast Division organised a reunion recently.
It was held to forge closer ties and unity among retired personnel and those still working at the national broadcaster.
The reunion was held at Jerudong Park Polo Club and organised in conjunction with National Family Day.
Meanwhile, over 60 former students from the 1974-1976 intake at Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Teachers College attended a reunion in Jerudong last Sunday, in celebration of Teacher’s Day.
The event saw the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Arwah for dearly-departed colleagues, led by Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Abdul Manaf.
The group is set to reconnect in 2024 to mark its 50th anniversary.
