Survey Department ‘A’ emerged as the champion in the Ministry of Development (MoD) and Departments Netball Tournament 2022 organised by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe), at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Sports Complex on Sunday.
JASTRe narrowly lost with a score of 11-13 and took up the runner-up spot, while Survey Department ‘B’ settled at third place.
Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land Use and Environment) at the MoD Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak participated in the prize presentation ceremony.
The ‘round robin’ tournament was participated by nine teams. It included JASTRe, MoD, Department of Administration and Finance, Department of Technical Services, Land Department, Survey Department (Survey Team ‘A’), Survey Department (Survey Team ‘B’), Department of Town and Country Planning and Department of Roads.
Director of JASTRe Martinah binti Haji Tamit as the chair of the Ministry of Development and Departments Netball Tournament 2022, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate and Law) at the MoD Aldila binti Haji Mohamad Salleh, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Construction Industry and Development) at the MoD Sr Hajah Norhayati binti Haji Mohd Yaakub, spouse of the Permanent Secretary (Infrastructure, Housing and Professional) at the MoD Hajah Husnah binti Haji Awang Damit, heads of departments, officers as well as staff were also present.
