Super Squad officially launched a new season from July to September 2022 following a ceremony at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Sports Complex in Tungku Link last night.

Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muhammad Abdul Haffiz bin Pengiran Sura Negara Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Bey Muntassir was the guest of honour.

Super Squad is an online football platform that enables individuals to book and play recreational matches. Players may register their slot at an allocated time and date and also stand a chance to climb in the overall leaderboard by gaining points on number of goals or assists.

Chief Executive Officer of Super Squad Faezal Murni said that the online football platform initially started in 2018 with a test season and was officially launched in early 2019. He added, “Alhamdulillah, at the end of 2019 we collaborated with Tourism Malaysia and launched our platform in Kota Kinabalu.”

To date, Super Squad has hosted more than 3,500 games and has surpassed more than 5,000 active players.
