Super Junior signs with global talent agency for representation outside Asia

CNA – K-pop superstars Super Junior now have new representation to help grow their brand in all territories outside Asia.

Variety reported on Monday that the nine-member group has signed with United States (US) agency ICM Partners, which is headquartered in Los Angeles and has offices in New York and London, to represent them.

ICM Partners’ Vice President of Concerts Jon Pleeter said, “We are thrilled to represent the kings of the Korean Wave, Super Junior. Along with Label SJ, we look forward to growing the Super Junior brand across the media landscape, including global touring, marketing, business development and strategic partnerships”.

The agency represents numerous big-name clients including actor Samuel L Jackson, comedians Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld, and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

The K-pop group – comprising Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, Yesung, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun – is releasing its 10th studio album in December called The Renaissance. The new single The Melody was released earlier this month.
