Aftercare Support Association (AFSA), and the Reintegration Centre held a ceremony breaking of fast for 30 of its Rakan Seliaan (RS) or supervisory partners yesterday at the Reintegration Centre in Beribi.
Legislative Council member and Village Head of Kampong Putat, Yang Berhormat Zainol bin Mohamed was the guest of honour.
The event began with a mass Tahlil, Doa Arwah and Doa Kesyukuran followed with the presentation of contribution’s comprising food and daily necessities to 30 RS officiated members by the guest of honour.
The event is held annually event organised by AFSA in the month of Ramadhan.
The Vice president of AFSA shared that such activities will help RS to motivate them to positively contribute to society. The event ended with a group photo and sungkai dinner.
President of AFSA, Hajah Dayang Juana binti Haji Mohammad Jaya, Director of Prisons Haji Mohammad Fadzillah bin Haji Ismail, Acting Deputy Director of Prisons Bahrin bin Haji Mohammad Yassin, Head of Reintegration of the Prisons Department Superintendent Pengiran Roslinawati binti Pengiran Haji Omar, and Deputy Head of the Reintegration Centre, Awang Sabtu bin Haji Abdul Ghani were present.
