Brunei Darussalam recorded one new COVID-19 imported case yesterday, bringing the number of active cases to 207. Thirteen are receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre in Tutong District.
According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), Case 207 is a 31-year-old woman who arrived from the United Kingdom on March 14. Contact tracing determined three close contacts, who tested negative for COVID-19.
The Sultanate has not recorded any local transmissions for 326 days.
A total of 597 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres, and 15,613 individuals have completed mandatory self-isolation since March 2020.
A total of 315 samples have been taken for SARS-CoV-2 testing over the last 24 hours, with 113,535 tests conducted since January 2020.
