Sultanate records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam yesterday marked the 59th day without any new COVID-19 case keeping the national tally at 141.

Information on the latest situation of COVID-19 in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement yesterday.

Some 505 individuals who arrived in the country after travelling abroad, are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at the government monitoring centres.

Some 2,854 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres. In all 224 samples were tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours bringing the total of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 31,055.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the
Tutong District.
