The accumulated recoveries of COVID-19 cases in the Sultanate reached 230,076, including 334 latest recoveries yesterday.
No COVID-19 fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours, shared the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
Meanwhile, there were no cases in Category 5 requiring intensive care unit treatment while three cases in Category 4 required respiratory assistance and close monitoring.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine stands at 10.6 per cent while the coverage rate of the country’s population with one booster shot remained at 78.5 per cent.
The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine are at 86 per cent, while 61.6 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third shot.
