HYUNDAI Kona, one of the stylish SUVs and a little different from other SUVs in the market, showed its optimum four-wheel drive (4WD) performance during a media test drive at Tungku Beach yesterday.

With a daring image and modern design, Hyundai Kona illustrates a unique exterior that fits modern individuals looking for a high-tech look, masculine and innovative features.

Commencing with a safety briefing by Setia Motors Sdn Bhd representatives, the main distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Sultanate, a selected customer who bought the Hyundai Kona along with media members took the wheel and control of the vehicle.

The customer and media personnel drove the 1.6 Turbo GDI engine 4WD for Hyundai Kona to experience the capability of its handling and cornering performance on slippery and bumpy surfaces.

The power exuded by Hyundai Kona during the test drive was impressive, as the steering wheel could easily be handled during aggressive driving and cornering, proving the vehicle’s stability and safety.

As safety is a significant feature in a vehicle, the Hyundai Kona also offers plenty of feature kits such as immobiliser, traction control system, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill-start drivers assist control, and downhill brake control which enables one to drive with confidence.

One of the customers who bought a Hyundai Kona in May said, “Throughout the test drive, I felt the suspension system of the Hyundai Kona was impressive including the cornering ability. One feature that we liked about Hyundai Kona is the driving mode and the 4WD.”

Setia Motors is conducting a promotion where customers who purchase a Hyundai Kona will get Setia Motors Anniversary package and will also be entitled to participate in a draw to win a trip to Korea, and three years free service package of BND1,500 voucher, while stocks last.

The public can head to the Hyundai showroom in Beribi for a closer look and feel of the vehicle.
