Students from Politeknik Brunei (PB) undertook a cleaning campaign at Berakas Forest Reserve and Recreational Park recently.

Around 60 students gathered refuse from the reserve’s recreational and beach areas, as part of the Enrichment Module of the Centre for Student Development and Innovation (CSDI) of PB.

According to PB, the campaign was aimed at conserving the environment and keeping the sea and beach habitat free from pollution.

It also aimed to encourage students to work as a team and instil in them a sense of civic responsibility in keeping their environment safe, clean and healthy, inculcating the practice of proper disposal of rubbish in recreational parks.
