PANAGA School students conducted a ‘Stray Animal Awareness Day’ recently and helped to raise pet food donations for the local charity ‘Care and Action for Strays’ (CAS).
The donations were made possible by the efforts of over 500 students from age three to 13, who were also involved in school activities to raise awareness on strays.
The food donations received by CAS will be used to feed the many animals in their care.
CAS is a charity group that aims to improve the lives of strays in Brunei, with the mission to educate the public on the importance of controlling pet overpopulation, raising awareness of animal abuse and to help prevent the killing and poisoning of stray animals in Brunei.
