Baiduri Bank hosted a group of students at its headquarters yesterday.

Twelve students accompanied by their teachers from Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien College, Raja Isteri Girls High School, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School and Seri Mulia Sarjana International School took part in the educational visit.

The activity was part of the Global Money Week (GMW) initiative organised by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD). The morning comprised an introduction to the bank by Baiduri Bank Communications Officer Redzwan Kamarudin followed by a financial talk by Wealth Management and Bancassurance Manager Siti Aminah binti Haji Abdul Rahman. The students also played a finance-based game.

The event concluded with a tour of the Baiduri Bank Headquarters including a visit to Baiduri Capital where students were briefed on investments as well as the Digital Hub where they learnt about Baiduri Bank’s digital banking initiatives.

Baiduri Bank Group Chief Executive Officer Ti Eng Hui said, “We are proud to open our doors to young people who are eager to enhance their financial management knowledge while gaining an overview of a financial institution. I hope that initiatives such as this will inspire them to continue their learning journey. This is also part of our efforts to contribute towards the goal of Vision 2035 which is to build a financially literate society.”
