The Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam held a certificate presentation to ‘Fabulous ASEAN Breakfast’ project participants yesterday.

The project was carried out in collaboration with teachers of 33 schools in 11 Southeast Asian countries coordinated by the Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) recipients 2015-2019.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam Wanthanee Viputwongsakul said it is crucial for students to be equipped with the right skills to join the society and workforce. The skills included communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.

The project was aimed at helping the students acquire the skills through exploration of real-world challenges. At the same time, it also created awareness on the importance of having healthy and regular breakfast.

Six students and three PMCA awardees for Brunei Darussalam, who coordinated the project, received their certificates yesterday.
