Students learn financial literacy through games, activities

Baiduri Bank took part in the Financial Awareness Roadshow organised by the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank at the Ma’had Islam Brunei in the Tutong District last week. The event was attended by over 400 students from Ma’had Islam Brunei.

Acting Head of the Arabic Schools Division Zamery bin Haji Nayan was the guest of honour.

During the event, Baiduri Bank conducted a number of fun activities for visitors with the aim to educate the students about financial literacy and concepts in an interactive way. The activities included a board game, Race to the Forbidden Treasure which guides students along the budgeting journey, showing them the importance of making better financial decisions.

Another game, Know My Money, teaches students the fundamentals of financial management by introducing them to simple banking concepts. Winners of the games were also rewarded with a voucher to redeem a treat during the roadshow.

Licenced financial planners from Baiduri Bank and Baiduri Capital were present.
