Primary students at International School Brunei (ISB) hosted a series of special assemblies to celebrate the French language and promote intercultural learning recently.
Students studying French for their Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) programme performed a variety of songs in French, dances, and skits – demonstrating their mastery of the language.
The school places an important emphasis on global awareness, not only for future careers but also to celebrate and foster multiculturalism and understanding within the school’s colourful community.
The assembly provided an insight into the culture and language of France for the students and parents present in the audience.
The Francophone assemblies have been a tremendous opportunity to celebrate internationalism and gave the students the confidence to speak in French with fluency and command over the language.
