Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) initiated its 9th VIBE Art Exhibition at the KIGS’ Business and Marketing Communication Centre (BMCC), alongside the launch of the first Higher Education Virtual Expo 2021 yesterday.

KIGS CEO Dr Haji Azaharaini bin Haji Mohd Jamil, who represented the college during the launch, officially opened the exhibition.

Thirty-seven works by final year students from KIGS’ Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Multimedia and Broadcasting are showcased at the exhibition.

The exhibition also includes artwork inspired by the different ethnic cultures of Borneo, utilising various techniques and mediums.

One highlight is the virtual reality (VR) set-up, with KIGS being the first private higher learning to introduce VR at the college.

A KIGS lecturer said the college takes pride in the printing of its annual VIBE t-shirt, as the designs are created by the final year students.

“Each year, the college staff, lecturers and students purchase the t-shirts to wear during the event as it helps to market products created by students.”
