The nation has implemented a strategy through its Brunei Vision 2035 with three goals – highly educated, skilfull and successful people; high quality of life as well as dynamic and sustainable economy – to attain prosperity, imams said in the Friday sermon yesterday.
“Among the keys to attain the three goals are strong believers or Al-Mukmin Al-Qawiy, who are better and liked by Allah the Almighty, more beneficial and brings good.
“Among the characteristics of Al-Mukmin Al-Qawiy, according to some Islamic scholars, are diligent in doing good deeds, persevere with tests, sharp minded, physically healthy and strong, and financially strong and stable.
“Let us unite and strive so that we become strong believers in all senses and in all fields for the sake of peace, well-being and harmony in society, nation and receive Allah the Almighty’s mercy and be pleased with, for our success in this world and in the days of hereafter,” imams said.
“And in conjunction with the country’s 39th National Day celebration, let us strive to be a pious society and strong in all fields for peace and prosperity of the nation and in living in a society in a nation blessed by Allah the Almighty.”
