In efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) through its Brunei-Muara District Office, continued the series of cleaning campaigns on several premises under the department at a stall in Kampong Jangsak yesterday.
The month-long campaign initiated by the Brunei-Muara District Office as part of the initiative to keep premises safe and tidy involved a collaboration with several government agencies including the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) and the Department of Water Services at the Public Works Department (JKR). The cleaning campaign aims to ensure the cleanliness of premises under it, implemented by the Market and Stall Unit Supervisor and Labour, District Development Division.
Supervisor Grade I, Market and Stall Unit, Brunei-Muara District Office Nency Sabrina binti Haji Mohd Nor said the activity serves to respond to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) call to ensure cleanliness is maintained.
Some 13 staff from the Market and Stall Unit, Brunei-Muara District Office took part in the cleaning campaign.
The next cleaning campaign will be on Saturday at the Kampong Selayun Market followed with Kampong Sengkurong Market on October 20.
