ANN/THE STATESMAN – Pathaan has become one of the biggest blockbusters of the Yash Raj Films.
The Shah Rukh Khan starrer spy-action thriller is having a historic run at the box office worldwide. The movie continues to earn enormous returns even on the 10th day of its release.
What’s more the film has not shown signs of slowdown in its income as yet.
The Siddharth Anand directorial venture so far, has collected over INR700 crore globally.
The film is part of YRF’s spy universe and also has an extended cameo by Salman Khan as Tiger aka Avinash Singh Rathore.
SRK’s amazing action sequences have already taken over KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali: The Conclusion to become the fastest film to enter the INR200-crore club.
The movie is being hailed by fans for its VFX, slick action, grandeur and serene locations of Spain, especially in the Besharam Rang song sequence.
“Pathaan, on its ninth day, registered an incredible INR15.65 Crore Nett in India (Hindi – INR15 Crore, All Dubbed versions – INR0.65 Crore),” as reported by YRF in its statement.
In the nine days, the spy thriller has recorded USD31.85 million (INR259.6 crore) in overseas territories alone.
The Nett collection in India stands at INR364.15 crore (Hindi – INR351 crore, Dubbed – INR13.15 crore), as claimed by the production house.
