S’pore delegation leaves with fond memories

THE assistant headmistress and senior teachers of Keriam Primary School (SR Keriam) bade farewell to a delegation from Bukit Timah Primary School in Singapore recently.

The delegation of 12 students – four teachers and administration staff led by Effandi bin Jasman – visited Brunei Darussalam for five days as part of a School Twinning Programme (STP).

The programme exposed participants to a different learning environment.

The delegates also experienced the school immersion programme at SR Keriam; participated in educational and nature visits to Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, Tasek Lama Recreational Park, Sg Liang Forest Recreational Park, BruGoat Farming Sdn Bhd, Pangkalan Warisan Kampong Penapar, Royal Regalia Museum, Tamu Kianggeh, Gadong night market and Jerudong Park; experience a Bruneian family lifestyle at the residence of Pengarah Haji Mokti at Kampong Tamoi in Kampong Ayer; and enjoyed a Nasi Katok experience at a restaurant in Jerudong. – Photos and text by Roudhah Isa
