SPK savings scheme consultations set for April

Employees Trust Fund (TAP) is opening up slots for consultation sessions on the National Retirement Scheme (SPK) for the Silver Generation (members aged 50 to 59) until April 12, and to run again from April 17 to April 21 at the Health Promotion Centre, Ministry of Health.

The one-on-one consultation method, targetting members aged between 50 and 59, aims to provide information on the benefits of the SPK savings scheme compared to the existing one.

Members will be updated on the estimated monthly annuity which will be received upon retirement at the age of 60.

The consultants will also inform the members that they are given the option to proceed with the SPK saving scheme or participate on a later date.

To ensure that every member of the Silver Generation category understands the SPK saving scheme, additional sessions will be held at Dewan Bandaran, Kuala Belait in the Belait District from May 1 to 6.
