The Brunei Red Crescent Society (BRC) continued its Sadaqah Kotak Makanan Sungkai Di Bulan Ramadhan project at Ar-Rahman Mosque in Kampong Tanjung Bunut yesterday.
BRC President Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yussof bin Pengiran Haji Baha, BRC Vice President Haji Mohd Yusri bin Haji Wahsalfelah and Bank Islam and Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) representatives, as the contributor, distributed the food packs.
One hundred hot meal and breakfast packs were distributed as part of an initiative of the community mobile kitchen of the BRC’s humanitarian aid body in collaboration with its corporate partners BIBD, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB), Setia Protective Security Services (SPSS), Ashcore Sdn Bhd and Ababil Resources. The food packs contain chicken briyani, dates and mineral water prepared by the Royal Brunei Culinary (RBC) and will be distributed during Ramadhan at selected mosques.
The items are distributed among residents around the area of selected mosques, the less fortunate, foreign workers and mosque congregants. Today the project will be conducted at Kampong Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Mentiri.
