IN A series of celebrations to mark this year’s Hari Raya season, Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) hosted some 1,800 corporate guests from different sectors for a Hari Raya gathering at The Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday.
Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yusof, foreign diplomats, TelBru’s corporate clients, partners as well as various stakeholders from both the private and government sectors were present.
The annual gathering aimed to foster closer relations and express TelBru’s appreciation to its customers and stakeholders for their patronage and support in various activities over the years.
TelBru Board of Directors alongside Telbru’s team led by Interim Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Jefri bin Abdul Rahman and the company’s senior management welcomed the guests.

MEGAMAS Training Company Sdn Bhd hosted a Hari Raya open office at its main headquarters at Kuala Balai, Belait District recently.
The event aimed to establish a closer relationship between its staff members and clients.
The guests included Megamas employees and clients as well as representatives from government and private agencies.
Executive Advisor for Megamas Mohd Roger Ainsworth, General Manager of Megamas Michael Stringer @ Mohd Firdaus Eswandi, Deputy General Manager of Megamas Haji Mahmud bin Haji Idris as well as the company staff members welcomed the guests.
Megamas will continue to engage with its staff members and clients to further establish a closer relationship, while also promote the importance of health and safety.
Meanwhile, the company will also celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 14, which serves to highlight and celebrate the years of service to help achieve the aspiration of the Sultanate.

JERUDONG Park Country Club Sdn Bhd (JPCC) celebrated its internal Raya open house at Jerudong Park Amphitheatre yesterday.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy), and Chairman of JPCC Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin was the guest of honour. Permanent Secretary (Investment) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and Deputy Chairman of JPCC Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid was also present.
JPCC Board of Directors members Johan bin Dato Paduka Dr Haji Johar and Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adnan were in attendance.
Acting General Manager of JPCC Datin Hajah Sakdiah binti Haji Mohd Noor welcomed the guests.
The celebration started with a stage performance led by the Acting General Manager of JPCC along with the managers of each seven departments.
A Raya booth competition for each department judged by the JPCC chairman and deputy chairman was a highlight.
The result concluded with the Sales, Marketing and Events Department securing third place, Finance Department coming in at second place and the winning booth went to Property, Leasing and Maintenance Department.
The event concluded with stage performances by each department and an open karaoke session by the staff of JPCC.
BRUNEI Shell Marketing Com-pany Sdn Bhd (BSM) and its staff held a donation drive in an effort to put smiles on some 50 underprivileged primary school students in Temburong District during Ramadhan and Syawal.
BSM Managing Director Pengiran Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha and members of the leadership team presented the donations at Mukim Bokok Community Hall in Kampong Rataie, Temburong, yesterday.
The donations, contributed by BSM and its management as well as staff, included school and daily supplies.
BSM also celebrated Hari Raya with the students and their family as well as its stakeholders and business partners.
The event has been a tradition by BSM since 2014 and was made possible by the commitment and partnership between BSM and the Department of Schools (Cluster 1) under the Ministry of Education as well as Temburong District Office and the Kampong Rataie Village Consultative Council under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
