A skin care event was held by young skin care enthusiast Muhammad Syafiq Hilmi bin Ahmad, one of Micropreneurs’ Accelerator Programme (MICAPRO) participating youth. The event’s theme was ‘Skin care with Bruneian Youth’ targetting youth keen to learn more about skin care.
The one-day event comprised a skin care workshop and skin care discussion at the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) in the capital.
Five participated in the workshop while 22 individuals attended the skin care discussion.
Among the objectives of the event were to increase awareness, and knowledge on how to take care of the skin, and to gather all skincare enthusiasts and skin care specialists in Brunei Darussalam. The event was one of the projects under MICAPRO in collaboration with Merveille Event Management.
MICAPRO is an entrepreneurship empowerment programme and micro venture builder initiative led by Goh Chai Li, which is funded by the United States (US) Government and supported by the US Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.
The three invited panellists for the afternoon discussion were Dayangku Azyan, Mariah and Shaqueel. The topics included skin care for eczema skin type, common misconception on skin care and skin care for tropical weather.
