    Skeletal remains case adjourned

    A case involving murder charges against a local married couple, suspects in a case linked to a viral message regarding skeletal remains of a baby at a house in Kampong Salambigar, was adjourned to October 28.

    Kasim bin Omar, 32, and his wife Siti Noraliza binti Haji Abdullah, 29, are alleged to have murdered a five-month and 24 days’ old girl at a house in Kampong Salambigar on May 29, 2018.

    DPP Nurul Fitri binti Kiprawi informed the court that more time was needed as exhibits are being sent for DNA analysis.

    Senior Magistrate Lailatul Zubaidah binti Haji Mohd Hussain adjourned the case to October 28, 2019 for further mention.

    The couple is facing the death penalty.
