Six participants were feted during a graduation ceremony that marked their completion of the Projek FEED’s Mentoring programme recently.
The six-month programme, from September 2020 to April 2021, provided participants from financially challenged families the mentorship to start business through self and technical improvement, while also allowing a platform to establish business connections.
Mentee received a certificate of achievement, a sponsored goodie bag, and BND300 start-up modal.
One of the mentees Muhammad Khairul Adziym bin Mohd Said said, “Alhamdulillah, thank you for all the support, guidance and mentoring given to us. And special thank you for connecting us to prestigious mentors who are involved in the programme.”
Muhammad Khairul Adziym was named one of the best mentees along with Inih Warsinih binti Makmuri, who owns a food stall.
Projek FEED Deputy CEO Norsuziyani binti Abdullah said the main goal of the programme is to develop entrepreneurship skills among participants by creating a platform for them to learn from seasoned entrepreneurs, adding that “it also aims to alleviate poverty by helping families earn sustainable income through business ventures”.
