ANN/THE STAR – Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza wowed Malaysians with a near-perfect rendition of a Tamil song during the AR Rahman: Secret of Success Live in Malaysia 2023 concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, reported Utusan Malaysia.
The Pahang-born superstar performed the classic Munbe Vaa with popular Indian vocalist Haricharan Seshadri. In an interview before her performance, Siti said she was honoured to be given the chance to perform alongside the legendary Indian musician.
Siti’s stunning performance captivated the audience of close to 60,000, who erupted with thunderous applause and wild cheers as soon as the 44-year-old Malaysian idol appeared on stage.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were among the audience.
