The High Commission of the Republic of Singapore in Brunei Darussalam hosted a dinner reception for the Brunei delegates of the 18th Second Echelon Brunei-Singapore Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP) at the residence of the Singapore High Commissioner on Monday.

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Civil Service, Welfare, International and Media) at the Prime Minister’s Office Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu attended the event.

Singapore High Commissioner (designate) to Brunei Darussalam Heng Aik Yeow and Singapore Deputy High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Raymond Chow welcomed the Brunei delegates to the event that provided a platform for Brunei delegates to interact and network with Singapore High Commission officials.

Jointly organised by Brunei Civil Service Institute and Singapore Civil Service College, the CSEP running in its 18th year since its inception in 2002 allowed civil servants from both countries to network, learn best practices and establish closer ties at the second echelon level.

Thirty-six delegates attended this year’s CSEP, with 18 delegates from Brunei and 18
from Singapore.
