Eighteen lecturers and undergraduates from the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore visited Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) School yesterday to take a closer look at how jawi is taught.
The delegation, led by Dr Sa’eda Buang, included associate professor Dr Roksana Abdullah Dr Kartini Anwar and Ramlah Begam binti Abdul Hameed.
They were welcomed by YSSHB’s Acting Chief Executive Chong Li Chen and principal Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi.
Hajah Mariam also delivered a presentation on kindergarten and primary schools and guided a tour of the classrooms. – James Kon
