During the consultation session, attendees were briefed on the benefits of SPK savings as well as the estimated monthly annuity during retirement.

In addition, visitors were briefed on the account statement which shows the comparison of SPK’s monthly contribution with the current scheme (TAP and SCP).

The information can also be found on e-Amanah, especially for those who have not registered as a portal user can do so through www.tap.com.bn.

The session is different from previous ones as SPK consultants provide one-on-one sessions with the public to explain the effect of choosing to join SPK or postponing participation.

To date, as many as 1,709 people have made appointments for the consultation.

The consultation session will continue to ensure that those in the silver generation are given explanation and guidance for their retirement.

One attendee, Acting Assistant Director of Islamic Da’wah Centre Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, said, “Alhamdulillah, with the consultation session, I have a better understanding of the scheme. From what I gathered, SPK gives better benefits for retirement.“

Meanwhile, Hajah Norhani binti Haji Metussin from the Ministry of Finance and Economy said, “From the consultation, I found more information on my savings and the monthly annuity I will receive after retirement.”
