I believe signboards need to be placed near crocodile infested rivers to keep the recent tragedy from happening again, as reported in the Bulletin, ‘Fishing trip takes ugly turn’, on April 21.
It reminds me of a drowning incident a few years back, when a man was caught in a riptide.
His friend jumped in to rescue him, resulting in both lives lost.
While signboards alone may not be enough to save lives, they do warn the public of potential hazards and dangers.
