Belait Lions Club members conducted another visit to the Seria Old Folks Home on Monday, bearing gifts of prescription spectacles and sunglasses sponsored by VisionCare in the Belait District.
Belait Lions Club President Keith Wong led the group, which included Vice President I Phyllis Jong, Immediate Past President Johnny Cheong and District Chairperson for Sight Preservation Awareness Action (Brunei Darussalam, Sabah, WP Labuan) cum Secretary Joseph Teo.
“Last month we ran vision tests on the elderly residents,” Joseph said, before expressing hopes the recipients will be better able to go about their days with clearer vision.
