The Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS) Bridge, the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja as well as Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium have been lit in golden yellow colour until midnight tonight to enliven the International Day of Older Persons 2024 celebration.
The lighting on the SHOAS Bridge and the buildings are a tribute to senior citizens being in their golden years, having rich experience and knowledge that can be beneficial to the younger generations as guides in life.
The public is welcome to take pictures of the bridge and buildings to be uploaded on social media using the hashtag #HAWE2024 or #IDOP2024.
