The Belait District Dakwah Unit held a talk at its hall on Jalan Maulana yesterday to celebrate the upcoming Israk Mikraj celebration while guiding new converts in observing the occasion.
Acting Head of Dakwah Propogation Division Pengiran Haji Jufri bin Pengiran Haji Hidup was the guest of honour.
New converts and Sinar Islam Association members also attended.
The talk aimed to shed light on the Israk Mikraj celebration, especially among new converts as many of them are celebrating the occasion for the first time since embracing the Islamic faith, said Muhammad Nur Aisamuddin bin Muhammad Hanafi on behalf of the Acting Head of the Belait District Dakwah Unit Muhammad Nur Aisamuddin.
Assistant Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) Muhammad Fuad bin Matahair led the talk on Israk Mikraj: Momentum Tingkatan Iman Di Era Moden.
The event concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to the guest of honour on behalf of the Acting Head of Belait District Dakwah Unit.
