The Tourism Development Department under Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism with cooperation from the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) hosted two training for 40 licenced tour guides recently.
The training, hoped to increase the tour guides knowledge in the correct delivery of information on the history of Brunei Darussalam currency, designs and images on banknotes and coins as well as the Currency Order 2004.
The tour guides visited the Brunei Currency Gallery where a briefing was delivered by BDCB officers.
The Tourism Development Department will continue to work with government agencies to make sure that the quality of services provided by tour guides meets the needs of the department so that information disseminated is accurate. – James Kon
