Shah United registered the biggest win in the Brunei Futsal League 2021 so far this term after thumping Silveredz FT 21-1 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex last Friday.

Brunei national futsal player Mohd Abi Syarillizam bin Sabtu, Abdul Muiz bin Sharizan and Haji Md Fardi Faran bin Haji Affendi led the attacking onslaught with four goals each.

Shah United’s Muhd Abdul Khaaliq bin Haji Lazim paved the way for a goal-scoring frenzy with his goal in the second minute before Mohd Abi Syarillizam and Haji Md Fardi struck within moments of each other.

Brunei forward Mohd Abi Syarillizam and Haji Md Fardi continued to torment the Silveredz defence with their respective brace in the eighth minute before Pengiran Mohd Sukri bin Pengiran Haji Jaludin joined in the act a minute later.

Abdul Muiz started his personal goal haul after adding his name to the score-sheet with barely 10 minutes of the one-sided game lapsed.

Silveredz, who conceded nine against Creativol in their opening game, suffered further setback when Muhd Abdul Khaaliq, Pengiran Mohd Sukri and Abdul Muiz all helped surpass the nine-goal mark comfortably.

The duo of Haji Md Fardi and Mohd Abi Syarillizam completed their hat-trick a minute after the break before the duo matched each other’s haul of four goals.

The ruthless Shah United possessed strength in the reserves with Khalil bin Saab among those they were able to call upon. The fan favourite added his name in the score-sheet in the 23rd minute before fellow substitute Muhammad Yuzlin bin Haji Ishak found the target three minutes later.

Abdul Khabiir bin Haji Ismail scored from the spot while Mohammad Haziq bin Mohd Hilmi managed a consolation for Silveredz.

Abdul Muiz completed his hat-trick in the 26th minute before joining Haji Mohd Fardi and Mohd Abi Syarilizam in the company of a four-goal club.

Abdul Khabiir bagged his second goal of the game with Muhd Wazien Musawwir bin Haji Mohd Nor also compounding Silveredz’s misery with his strike.

Shah United enjoy a perfect start to their league campaign with two successive victories in Group ‘A’, while on the other hand beaten opponents Silveredz suffered back-to-
back losses.

The winning margin eclipsed the previous record set by DDT FT during their 14-0 victory against OKP on the same night.
