THE Magistrate’s Court yesterday adjourned a case involving a man accused of sexually assaulting his teen sister tomorrow, to make way for the prosecution to assess evidence for possible multiple charges to be pressed against the defendant.
The defendant, whose name is being withheld, is alleged to have fondled and touched his sister inappropriately sometime between 3am and 4am on February 17, at their family home in the Brunei-Muara District.
The case is being prosecuted by DPP Nor Hafizah binti Ahmad. Senior Magistrate Azrimah binti Haji Abdul Rahman presided over the case.
