With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, seven police officers received their promotions during a ceremony at the Mess Banquet Hall of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Headquarters in Jalan Gadong yesterday.
The promotions came into effect on February 15.
Police Commissioner Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali and spouse attended the event.
Deputy Commissioner of Police with Directors as well as senior officers and family members were also present.
Two officers were promoted to Senior Superintendent of Police, two officers promoted to Superintendent of Police, one officer promoted to Chief Inspector and two officers promoted to Senior Inspector.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Imam of Police HQ’s Surau APO Staf Sarjan 6472 Mohammad Yusri bin Haji Abu Bakar.
