Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) held an annual dinner to mark its 31st anniversary of establishment. The ceremony was held at Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei on Saturday.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman attended the ceremony in his capacity as the Syariah Affairs Advisor of Perbadanan TAIB.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof in his capacity as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB; Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid; Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan as Deputy Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB Board of Directors; members of the Board of Directors and Syariah Advisory Committee; Managing Director of Perbadanan TAIB Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim as well as officers and staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries were present.
The managing director in her welcoming remarks spoke about the challenging year that had passed for both Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries, as well as the public, as the nation finally emerged from COVID-19 restrictions.
She also praised the ability of Perbadanan TAIB’s staff to carry on business as usual through contingency planning and successfully undertaking all planned infrastructure upgrades and product development, an achievement that demonstrated that efforts to upgrade the organisation’s internal expertise and human capacity were now bearing fruit.
The managing director added that the new technology, products, human resource development, governance and rebranding achieved in the past year contributed to the organisation’s continued success.
She also expressed appreciation to the recipients of the service and achievement awards and thanked staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries for their diligence and dedication which contributed to the success of the Perbadanan TAIB Group of Companies over the years.
The presentation of service awards to retired staff and the presentation of awards to a number of staff also had contributed to the nation and society in sports, national events and community service was the highlight at the event.
