The 15th National Youth Day will be celebrated with the theme of ‘Future Ready Youth’.
With this in view, yesterday’s Friday sermon called on youth to excel in education, character and spirituality, as well as be skilled, innovative and creative to uphold national development and the country’s vision.
“This is to ensure that our national prosperity and progress will be stable,” said Imams while delivering the sermon.
“As the driving force of our nation, youth need to be nurtured, educated and given proper guidance until they mature into adults with wisdom, integrity, good manners and guided by the teachings of Islam.
“Parents, families, society and the nation play a crucial part in moulding and guiding our youth.
“The future is fraught with challenges and the country needs youth who are ready to enhance nation-building, especially in accomplishing the goals of Brunei Vision 2035.
“Let us pray that our youth remain on the true path and are blessed by Allah the Almighty.”
