Twenty-three members from the Belait Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE Belait) learnt more about the importance of maintaining health and how the hospital can fulfil the responsibility as Panaga Health welcomed the delegation yesterday.

Leading the delegates from PKWE Belait was their administrative manager Salimo.

The group was welcomed by Health Promotion and Marketing Lead Pengiran Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Rambli who also gave a brief presentation about the establishment.

Since being rebranded on September 23, the visit has provided opportunities for the centre’s senior citizens to learn more about the facilities available to them helping to ensure the senior citizens’ health can be maintained.

Salimo added that the visit also helps further strengthen ties among its members, various groups and agencies across the district, as well as for the members to partake in lively activities with other senior citizens.

During the visit, the group also toured various facilities and departments under Panaga Health to get a first-hand look as well as learn more on the day-to-day workflow of the medical officers at the hospital.
