STUDENTS of Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) attended a sharing session on ‘Preserving the Past to Serve The Future’ at the college recently.
This is aimed at helping students on the process of self-discovery on their future and their contribution to the country.
There were discussion on creativity, the importance of brainstorming and observation to find their purpose.
The presenters shared their own journeys of self-discovery. They talked about their project to create awareness and pass down their knowledge regarding the value of Kain Tenunan as it is not only aesthetically beautiful but also uniquely Bruneian.
They also talked about their other projects, participation in ASEAN textile events and opening up their own businesses.
It was hoped that students will be inspired and be prepared for the real world as well as give back to the country and be proud of the Bruneian identity.
