Workers and employees experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever and cough even with negative antigen rapid test (ART) results should seek medical treatment from a doctor or take their Self-Certified Medical Leave (CSDS).
This advice was given by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar yesterday.
The minister added that the worker or employee needs to isolate at home and repeat their ART. They can leave home if the result remains negative, however they should see a doctor as a fever can also be caused by flu, he said.
